Have you ever wondered how you get to heaven?
First, know that God loves you and wants you to go to heaven. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:16,17
Second, The problem is that the same Bible says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 Sin separates us from a holy God and keeps us out of heaven.
So how do you get in?
Some think that sincerity is the way. Some think being a good person is the way. Some think morality is the way. Some think being religious is the way. The problem is that no amount of good works or effort can get us into heaven because the Bible says, "for the wages of sin is death… Wages means payment, earnings. What we have ‘earned’ for our sin is death and hell, separation from God forever.
Is there a way?!... Yes,..
Third,"for the wages of sin is death BUT the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 6:23
It is His gift to us, YOU! "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh to the Father but by Me." John 14:6
Forth, We Must Personally Pray And Receive Christ as our Savior
The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”Romans 10:13
